Cable Bay 2019 Stud Fee

Cable Bay 2019 Stud Fee

Cable Bay
14th November 2018

Cable Bay was at the forefront of Goffs UK this year recording the highest price of all the British first season sires when selling a precocious looking colt for £150,000 to Angus Gold of Shadwell.

Other smart yearlings by Cable Bay were also in demand at Goffs UK selling for £110,000, £90,000, £62,000, £60,000 etc giving him a strong average of £45,000 from 14 lots sold.

Angus Gold commented after his purchase at Goffs UK, “Everyone has liked the Cable Bay’s, the top lot I bought looked a proper 2yo”.

Cable Bay did a brilliant time when runner up in the Dewhurst (faster than Frankel’s) and he also won or was placed in The Richmond, Gimcrack, Champagne, Challenge, Ascot Summer Mile, Hungerford, Celebration Mile, Jury, Gladness and Somerville Tattersalls Stakes. Being very well bred and with Invincible Spirit becoming a great sire of sires, Cable Bay looks to have a very bright future.

Standing at Highclere Stud in Hampshire, Cable Bay’s fee for 2019 is set at £6,500 1st Oct SLF.
