Highclere Agency is John and Jake Warren’s bloodstock advisory company that combines the purchasing of yearlings, mares, horses-in-training and foals privately and at public auction for independent clients with mating advice and general management of bloodstock. John Warren also oversees all The King’s racing and breeding interests in the role of His Majesty the King’s Bloodstock and Racing Advisor whilst Jake is the Principle Advisor to Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Turf Club and Al Adiyat Racing.

Amongst the 100 plus Group/Stakes winners purchased as public auction have been top class 1000 Guineas winner Cachet, Epsom Derby winner Motivator, World Champion Harbinger, European Champion Postponed, Irish Champion Highland Reel, St Leger winner Sixties Icon, Irish Oaks winner Petrushka and Hong Kong Derby winner Collection etc.

Throughout John and Jake’s career they have between them purchased yearlings for HM Queen Elizabeth II, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, John Magnier, Prince Khaled Abdulla, Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed Obaid, Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, The Royal Ascot Racing Club, The Duke of Devonshire, Bermuda Racing, Mike & Michelle Morris, Abdullah Al Naboodah, The Duke of Roxburghe, Lord Vestey, Sir Ernest Harrison, George Strawbridge, former Chairman of the BHA Paul Roy etc.

Headquarters for John and Jake are at Highclere Stud, from these offices they also work in independent consultancy roles to a number of high-profile clients including Ascot Racecourse, Goodwood Racecourse, The Bahrain Turf Club, Arrowfield, China Horse Club, Virtual Live Racing, The Jockey Club etc.

John is a member of The Jockey Club and Council member of the China Horse Club. Jake sits on the Thoroughbred Horseracing Industry MBA Advisory Board.
