Vow lands Oaks Trial for Motivator

Motivator has sired another top class filly in Vow, who won the Betfred “The Bonus King” Oaks Trial Stakes (L) over 1m4f at Lingfield today.

Despite running green this three-year-old filly powered through in the final furlong to comfortably win by over 3l for Highclere Thoroughbred Racing and trainer William Haggas.  She was following up her maiden victory in April at Newbury.

The Epsom Oaks is now a possibility for this half-sister to Gr.3 winners Harris Tweed and Beaten Up, out of the mare Frog.  Bred by William Haggas’ father, Vow was consigned by Highclere Stud and purchased by John Warren Bloodstock from Tattersalls for 60,000gns.
