Gusto wins fourth successive Stakes race

The John Warren purchased, Gusto, won the Pavilion Stakes (L) over 6f at Kempton yesterday, his fourth Listed race success on the trot for owner Highclere Thoroughbred Racing and trainer Richard Hannon.

This three-year-old son of Oasis Dream was following up victories at Maisons Laffitte and Lingfield earlier this year having won the Doncaster Stakes (L) in 2011. A trip to Royal Ascot to compete in the Jersey Stakes (Gr.3) is now on the cards.

Gusto was purchased by John Warren Bloodstock for Highclere Thoroughbred Racing for €120,000 from the Goffs Orby Yearling Sale.

On the same day Highclere Thoroughbred Racing also enjoyed success with Commitment, who comfortably won his maiden at Pontefract.  A three-year-old by Motivator, he was also purchased by John Warren Bloodstock.
