John & Jake Warren are a dynamic father and son partnership who are highly regarded worldwide as leading bloodstock advisors.
They combine the purchasing of yearlings, mares, horses-in-training and foals at public auction for independent clients with mating advice and general management of bloodstock. John Warren also oversees all of The Queen’s racing and breeding interests in the role of Her Majesty the Queen’s Bloodstock and Racing Advisor and Jake Warren holds a similar position for various high value private clients.
Amongst the 100 plus Group/Stakes winners purchased as yearlings have been top class Epsom Derby winner Motivator, World Champion Harbinger, 2016 European Champion Postponed, 2016 Irish Champion Highland Reel, St Leger winner Sixties Icon, Irish Oaks winner Petrushka and Hong Kong Derby winner Collection etc.
Headquarters for John and Jake are at Highclere Stud, from these offices they work in an independent advisory role to a number of high profile clients. In John’s career to date he has bought Group winners as yearlings for H.M. The Queen, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, John Magnier, Prince Khaled Abdulla, Sheikh Mohammed Obaid, Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, The Royal Ascot Racing Club, The Duke of Devonshire, Abdullah Al Naboodah, The Duke of Roxburghe, Lord Vestey, Sir Ernest Harrison, George Strawbridge, former Chairman of the BHA Paul Roy etc.
John Warren is a member of The Jockey Club as well as a council member of The China Horse Club. John and Jake are members of The Federation of Bloodstock Agents which is committed to ensuring high standards of business practice are maintained in the industry.
