More success for Paco Boy

Paco Boys amazing success continued with Making Trouble blitzing the field in Dusseldorf, Germany in a 50,000 euro Sales Race winning by a huge 3 and a half lengths and scooping the 30,000 euro top prize.

On Monday the wins continued to roll in with another Paco Boy, Little winning the 7f Chandlers BMW Maiden Auction Stakes in Brighton.

On Tuesday Paco Royale raced home ahead of the field to secure yet another first in the Premio Gildoran in Rome.

Paco Boy’s progeny are going from strength to strength!

Peacock, owned by HM The Queen, was an unlucky third in the Listed Flying Scotsman stakes on Friday. Peacock with top jockey Ryan Moore on board was hampered in running in the latter parts of the 7f contest but finished strongly to earn 3rd beaten by a margin. Peacock certainly looks like a talented individual and we’re all looking forward to him stepping up to a mile which he will undoubtedly relish.

Paco Boy secured himself as a leading first season sire on Friday as Beacon flew home to land the Gr.2 Flying Childers at Doncaster. Not only did the top class son of Paco Boy scoop the winning prize but Astrophysics also by Paco Boy joined him on the line to land second place! It was a high class one two for Paco Boy and a fantastic result for the Highclere Team.

At the close of play on Friday Paco Boy was the leading first season sire in Europe by number of individual stakes horses. Paco Boy stands clear of the rest with an impressive 6 stakes horses so far, an incredible feat for a stallion with himself hadn’t run until mid September! All eyes are on the future as Paco Boy’s progeny just keep getting better and better!

Paco success continues..

Paco Boy continues his outstanding run of success as he banked another impressive winner in France on Saturday. Cherek bred by HH The Aga Khan easily won his maiden over 1m and now is being targeted at the Gr.2 Prix du Gros-Chene.

On the same day Lexington Times was just beaten in the final stride in the Gr.3 Solario Stakes at Sandown. This is the second time this season a Paco Boy has been unluckily denied Group Level success in the final stages of a race!

Aktabantay wins

More success for the Highclere Stud draft as Aktabantay won the Gr.3 Solario Stakes at Sandown on Saturday. Aktabantay is by Oasis Dream out of the Fittocks stud mare Splashdown. The colt was sold by Highclere Stud for 360,000gns at Book 1 last year and according to trainer Hugo Palmer will now be aimed at Gr.1 races such as The Dewhurst and Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf.  This is another example of the quality and precociousness to have come out of the Highclere Stud draft last year.
