Paco Boy’s first success at Salisbury

Paco Boy got his first winner on the board this afternoon with Beacon winning easily in a 5f maiden at Salisbury. The win was made all the sweeter as Beacon, bred by John and Penelope Cole, was sold as a yearling by Highclere Stud at the DBS premier sale and bought by John and Jake Warren for Highclere Thoroughbred Racing! Not only was this a home team victory in that regard but Beacon is trained by Richard Hannon who expertly guided Paco Boy himself through his outstanding racing career.

Of the Paco Boy’s that have now run, they have all either won or been placed on top tracks which bodes really well for the freshman sire and the season that lies ahead. Onward an upwards with more to come and a big cheer to all involved for their efforts with Beacon, we hope to see him next at Royal Ascot!
