Richard Hannon Jnr impressed with Paco Boy foals

Richard Hannon Jnr came to Highclere Stud last week especially to look at the first Paco Boy foals.  These included a cracking colt foal out of the Listed Masaka Stakes winner, Don’t Dili Dali by Dansili (see picture below). The breeders Mr Peter Webb and Mr Peter Lay are so delighted with their foal that they have decided to send the mare back to Paco Boy this year.

Richard Hannon Jnr said: “I’ve been bowled over by how well formed and together Paco Boy’s foals looked. He’s definitely stamping his stock and I can’t wait until we get our hands on them to train!!”

Paco Boy has another full book of mares this year and many top breeders in England and Ireland have booked into the horse.

Jake Warren said: “The marvellous thing about Paco Boy is that he has attracted not only owner breeders such as The Queen, The Aga Khan, Cheveley Park, Ballymacol, and Lord and Lady Vestey etc, but also a wide spread of commercial breeders such as Rathbarry, Meon Valley, Whatton Manor, Furnace Mill and Willie Carson’s Minster Stud, to name but a few. What is clear from the feedback we constantly get from breeders booking nominations, is that they really admired his toughness, his high class performances and his ability to have stayed sound throughout his racing career.”
