Highclere consigned, Camelot, ranked top 2yo

Camelot was ranked joint top European two-year-old at the World Thoroughbred Rankings for 2011 unveiled in London today.

Reared and consigned by Highclere Stud, Camelot was given a rating of 119 by the European Thoroughbred Rankings Committee having cruised to victory in the Racing Post Trophy (Gr.1) at Doncaster last year following his debut win.

In addition, the Highclere Stud consigned Royal Ascot two-year-old winner, Power, was joint third in the rankings with a rating of 117.  Both him and Camelot are trained by Aidan O’Brien and have exciting futures ahead.
